RealCME Awarded ACEHP’s 2017 Felch Award for Outstanding Research in CE

It is a great pleasure to announce that RealCME (a HealthCourse Company) in collaboration with Genentech (Learning & Clinical Integration Group) has been selected as the 2017 recipient of the William C. Felch Award for Outstanding Research in Continuing Education, in honor of William Campbell Felch, a founding member of the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions (ACEHP). The award recognizes the best completed research project in the area of continuing education.

This research, entitled, “A Multi-Level Assessment of Shared Decision Making: Seeking HCP-Patient Alignment,” identified specific patient and healthcare provider profiles that facilitate or hinder the successful implementation of shared decision making. The results of this study can inform educational strategies regarding implementing shared decision making in a variety of practice settings for both health professionals and patients.

We are delighted to share this exciting news with the CE community. You can view the research poster here. The award will be presented at the Alliance Awards Ceremony and Luncheon scheduled for Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm PT during ACEHP’s 2017 Annual Conference in San Francisco, CA.

We hope to see you there!
